A Looming Shift of Tactic ~ 1 Jul 2022

Though we’re only at the beginning of July, what happens at the end of July might be one of the more provocative planetary circumstances in the next months ahead, and yet, imply transitions and changes that create huge improvements in life. Given that major changes usually happen when one can wrap around the life circumstances that imply change, consider this as a heads up that in about a month, some things intend to change... and to improve. These changes likely occur with greater ease and less stress for those who took the time to process life’s conditions and conclude that shifts in applied actions, if course corrected, garner better results. Consider the upcoming pattern to be a shift of tactic.

On the first day of August, within 10 minutes of an arc, Mars, Uranus and the North Node are conjunct in Taurus at roughly 18 degrees. During that day Mars passes by both Uranus and the node and the conclusions decided become operational protocol... at least until Mars retrogrades at the end of October.

Without nodal involvement the Mars to Uranus conjunction bears noting and no doubt flamboyant predictions will include weirdly imagined and not all that likely circumstances: lightning strikes, earthquakes, weird accidents and people proving Darwin wrong about that evolution thing by taking ill-advised risks and over assessing available energy and stamina.

Both if one sets aside the jarring predictions, amazing insight appears regarding a collective trend in which all people are prompted to consider and engage different activities and aspects of life that previously did not hold a position on the to-do list. And, oh by the way, the results create improvements and ease in progress.

In simplistic theory Mars conjunct Uranus refers to making a change to the way things regularly are done. In theory, the change would be enhancing, simplifying and including some right under the nose, quick, easy to apply insights that make all the difference in the world. Mars to the North Node signifies putting energy and effort into life tasks that further ones cause and increase the positive effects of one significance on the planet. The North Node conjunct Uranus implies that while the direction for life betterment is set, a sequence of tweaks, course corrections and alternatives presented by life circumstances guide ones destiny with greater precision. Like updating software to install the latest debug features.

How cool is this!? The Universe suggests that by including new and different ideas and by changing the way one does simple basic tasks, long term goals hone in on a clearer sense of personal purpose. As July ends and August begins, a strong prevailing transit tool suggests: It’s time to do a different thing. It’s time to do the different thing that includes a newly found insight even if the initial reaction to the insight is that it is inconvenient to install. Or perhaps doing the same things at least a little differently could do the trick. One thing for certain, the nature of the time clearly indicates one cannot continue to do the same thing in the same ways and expect different or life improving results.

Theoretically, changes implied by the Mars-Uranus-Node conjunction could be easily engaged and the application renders immediate improvements. Now, let’s consider the sign where this alignment occurs: Taurus. Let’s also consider that despite the innate cardinality and impulsiveness of Mars, Uranus (co-)rule a fixed sign: Aquarius. Fixed signs are known to be... well... fixed, intractable.

In order for Taurus to amble to greener pastures, she/they/he must first adjust to the idea of getting up and getting on with it from a life comfort point of view. Emotionally, it takes time for Taurus to wrap around implied changes. A Taurean needs to process the implications of evolution and determine a primal psychological receptivity to moving forward over yonder and explore that which is yet unknown. This is the crux of the matter. However, the way unexpected change tends to be translated by a Taurean is:

There’s nothing wrong with the way things are getting done.

No matter what age dog I am, I have no time (nor inclination) for learning new tricks.

Do you know how much this is going to cost to retool everything?

Now if any individual confronts the Mars-Uranus-Node configuration at July’s conclusion and comes up with one of these reactions, here are a few things that can be done:

First, take some time away from the implied changes and the chaos perceived. A walk in nature. Yard work. Staring at the clouds in the sky or at the stars at night all do the trick. Here are some concepts to mull over while having intentionally mindless moments:

Change is inevitable. Some of the implied shifts will probably occur, like it or not.

If things improve and get easier, that’s even better and life’s objectives become more attainable.

Redefine your basic mission in life. Would including any implied changes improve that mission?

Pretend no one’s watching and make the changes you need to make without making a fuss over the fact that you’ve done your shifting thing.

Here’s the thing about Uranus: What you expect with this guy, typically is not what you get. Seeking certainly, one might ponder what could come to pass, and then that probability morphs into something not conjured. If one can let the fork in the road appear as it does, then the fork can be considered at the moment it appears, which, by the way, includes potentially new insights since you started thinking about the shift until the directional choice must be made.

If one queries an oracle for life guidance, perception is changed by the answer to the question. Even if the answer is not liked, a shift of insight occurs. Should one ask another question, it no longer is the question originally posed. Once an answer appears or an information blip on the radar is recognized, the question shifts. So, as July unfolds, give Mercury and Venus in Gemini a chance to set the table for Mars in Gemini - they both conspire to put a heap of facts before you. Give Mars a chance to finish Aries without rushing him along. Let Mars amble through Taurus as he might, without expectation of the gains of current labors... go nose to the grindstone and do what you do and do it well. At the end of the month, you can see if the foundation created is straight or needs adjustment. Then, with gusto and receptivity, alter plans in progress to succinctly fit the moment and better fit what you originally intended.
